Whether you are going on holiday, away on business or staying in hospital I offer a daily visiting service to feed and care for your cat in your own home. This will allow your pet to stay in a familiar environment and avoid the stress of having to place your cat in a cattery with possible exposure to illness from other animals. When you use a cat sitter you no longer need to rely on neighbours’ goodwill or ask friends to help who are not necessarily cat lovers or knowledgeable about cats.

Don’t forget that home based pet care is not just about looking after your pet, it is a service for you and your home too. Using the service means that your property will be checked daily while you are away – your post and newspapers will be picked up, the rubbish and recycling can be put out for collection and your houseplants and garden plants will be watered. A real bonus for keen gardeners during the summer months!

Cats are always happiest in their own environment and by using this service your cat will be able to stay in the comfort of your own home, be given plenty of loving attention from an experienced cat owner and you will return home to a happy, relaxed cat.

The price includes the following:

•  feeding, fresh water and litter tray cleaned

•  check that the cat is in good health and basic grooming

•  games and plenty of attention and stroking if the cat welcomes this

•  daily diary logging your cat's behaviour

•  houseplants watered

•  house security, opening/closing curtains and switching lights on/off, post and newspapers tidied away and refuse and recycling boxes put out for collection

• hanging baskets, outdoor tubs and gardens can be watered for a small additional fee

For new clients we appreciate at least two weeks notice to allow time to arrange the initial interview but please make sure you book well in advance for busy periods such as school holidays, Christmas and New Year and other Bank Holidays.

Regular clients can make bookings simply and quickly by e mail or phone and at short notice if necessary especially if we are holding a set of your house keys.
